My theoretical foundation is eclectic which means I utilize a variety of conceptual frameworks to address the widest presentation of issues and clinical features that may occur. The counseling theory that most closely parallels my philosophical orientation, however, is the cognitive-behavioral model which, simply stated, suggests that individuals feel and act according to the specific belief systems they maintain. |
